YouTube Playables – YouTube has actively opposed the use of ad blockers, which clearly encourages more subscriptions to its Premium service. To increase the appeal of its Premium service, it recently introduced a feature called YouTube Playables.
The addition of Playables aims to provide subscribers with an enriched ad-free experience and access to several unique features of the platform. However, it should be noted that the feature may not be enabled automatically for all users. Some people have reported receiving notifications from YouTube about activation through the Settings app.

But what is YouTube Playable? These additional features come at no extra cost and are reminiscent of the same approach seen on platforms like Netflix. YouTube has a dedicated Playables section on its mobile app and desktop website. Users can play their background games as soon as they are available.
The great thing about this feature is that you don’t need to download anything – all games can be played directly in the YouTube app or in your desktop browser. Moreover, there are currently 37 games available through YouTube Playables, and Angry Birds Showdown is one of the top picks.

It should be noted that YouTube Playables may be a temporary addition, as YouTube is not sure about its long-term viability. The streaming platform announced that the service will be available until March 28, 2024, after which it will evaluate whether Premium users find value. If not, the feature may be disabled.
